Portland Food Photographer- Heathman Cocktails


I love being invited to events.  Especially events where I get to taste new cocktails and sample amazing food.  I was thrilled that Rachael from Lane PR invited me to The Heathman Restaurant’s new cocktail menu event.  I met renowned Bar Chef Kathy Casey & Executive Chef Michael Stanton.  They introduced themselves and talked about the new creations The Heathman lounge is serving.  Drinks and cocktails surrounded me and I couldn’t decide if I was more excited to photograph them or to drink them.  (Both shooting and sipping turned out to be really fun!)  The wonderful people at Lane PR and The Heathman really took the time to make us feel special, they made sure we got to try anything and everything we wanted plus they even sent us home with a goodie bag full of awesome treats.  It was a beautiful event and it definitely made me want to bring my friends to The Heathman for drinks and dinner.

Photo Tip:  Location, Location, Location… don’t be afraid to move around the restaurant/bar and keep your eyes open for interesting backgrounds and light! (Especially at these events where you don’t have to stay seated.)

Vineyard Margarita; Milagro Reposado Tequila, Combier D’Orange, Fresh Lime, Organic Agave Nectar, Fresh Rosemary, Topped with a Float of Willamette Valley Vineyards Pino Noir
