storyboard002Nothing beats a warm, flaky croissant and a hot cup of coffee on a crisp fall morning.  If you’re downtown, maybe shopping at Powell’s Bookstore, be sure to swing by Union Way and say hello to the wonderful people at Little T.  They just opened a second location off SW Burnside and I was invited to the grand opening.  I tried their seasonal danish filled with spiced pears and sprinkled with powder sugar.  I also nibbled on their traditional croissant, which was delicious.  They sent me home with a loaf of sea salt focaccia bread.  It was a large loaf and it only lasted two days in my house.  (And my husband was out of town).  It was perfect with a little olive oil and a glass of wine.  Little T offers breakfast options like their homemade granola and some lunch sandwiches.  Their daily bread selection is superb, try them all.  And don’t forget to indulge in a little sweetness- take home a lemon curd tartlet or a sea salt brownie.  Stop by their new location in Union Way, tell them Aubrie sent you and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
