Portland Drink Photographer- Fun With Colors

Sometimes you just need to play around, do something out of the norm. I know the colorful blocks and angles of different colored paper/backgrounds are popular at the moment. So this isn’t something that I thought of on my own (I wish!). It does look different from my typical food/drink imagery. I just woke up one morning and decided I was going to paint some blocks and play with color. It still has my style woven in- it’s just a funkier, colorful version of my style. And I dig it.

I enjoyed playing around with a simple cocktail, the Greyhound. Grapefruit juice and vodka. I experimented with a new vodka, Vido Vodka, from Washington. The Vido clan was nice enough to send me two bottles to try out. It’s a smooth potato vodka. I would recommend checking them out if you’re a vodka drinker.

After the Greyhound I busted out the whiskey and bitters (Portland Bitters Project) and made two classic cocktails, a Whiskey Sour and an Old Fashioned.

Just a shoot for fun (and to introduce to you Vido!). I hope the colors bring you some joy today.
