Portland Food Photographer- Blue

Portland Food Photographer

I am working on a personal food photography project.  Simply put, I’m photographing colors.  I’ll always have the color represented in food, but I will also play with props in that color and possibly light.  It’s just a fun way to play around with food and props.  I look forward to sharing my color theme with you throughout the remainder of the year.

I started off with blue!  Everyone loves blue and everyone loves blueberries.  I took a few shots of the sweet berries by themselves and then I added them into a yogurt-granola set-up with some blue props.  The parfait in the jar is Ellenos plain greek yogurt with a little bit of hot honey from Bee Local, layered with blueberries and crunchy granola.  I ate both jars!  It was delicious.  The hot honey added a slight kick and the granola I used (typically I would say homemade!! but I didn’t have the time) was Purely Elizabeth.  Perfect for breakfast, brunch or a dessert!

I hope you enjoy the photos.  And stop back by to see what color is up next… red? green? orange?
